Thirst For Rain
Finally the Rain came
with her graceful song and her incredible scent.
She captured us all.
I surrendered in bliss.
She hadn’t visited us for 6 months.
6 months of drought.
Such a huge longing for Rain in such a tiny place I live.
Thirst is the primary issue here, both for nature and humans.
Nature is aware of it.
The roots of the trees are desperately looking for water underground.
Some of them are dying already.
Survival is exhausting.
Resources are scarce.
On the other hand, most humans go on their lives.
Unaware of their thirst for Rain,
they are consuming everything else -masks, coffee, pills, news, violence, depression, suppression, fear, corruption, life(s)-
They are desperately trying to find what substitutes the Rain.
Some of them are dying already.
Survival is exhausting.
Resources are scarce.
I have been secretly praying for Her to arrive.
I know I was not alone.
Nurturance,
Healing,
Relief,
Softness,
Clarity
Love.
She is gone again.
Oh dear God,
How many tones of Singing Rain do we need to cleanse our lives and tune with our souls?
